Please be informed that we are currently experiencing increased latency to Singapore and Europe due to an international submarine fibre failure. The Marine team has been engaged for evaluation, assessment, and further investigation of the affected cable segment.
We do not expect any speed degradation. however you may notice higher latency compared to the previously optimized path. An ETR for the fibre restoration has not yet been confirmed.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as they become available.

Swoop has confirmed the issue is due to a cable fault on the Indigo West link. Repair works are planned to commence on 23 January 2026 with the estimated time of restoration (ETR) set to 1 February 2026. We’ll continue to provide updates as restoration progresses.

Swoop is aware of the current service disruption caused by a cable fault on the Indigo West link. The Cable maintenance Team is on their way to the repair site, with an estimated arrival on 14 January 2026. Restoration is expected to be completed by 1 February 2026.
