Dear Customer,

Swoop is upgrading your tower!

This upgrade is the culmination of more than three years of work by our team of networking experts, and will enhance and expand our capacity to service Yarragon and surrounding areas.

The outcomes for you will be:
- Better, faster, more stable connections
- Greater performance at peak times
- Focus on capacity for future demand

We have already undertaken some preliminary remote work to ensure we are ready for hardware upgrades.

Work dates: 22 July – 5 August 2024
We will be working on the Yarragon tower from 22 July 2024. These works are expected to be completed on 5 August 2024, barring unforeseen delays such as weather impact.

Daylight hours:
Works will be undertaken in daylight hours as they involve climbing the tower. This is for the safety of our team, and will ensure works do not take longer than necessary.

Downtime:
You should anticipate that there may be short, unavoidable interruptions to your service during the period 22 July – 5 August 2024. These interruptions will typically last 5-60 minutes, and we anticipate that there will be 2-4 of them for most customers. Even in the event of unplanned downtime, we are not anticipating a significant impact. We expect outages on up to 6 days out of the total 14-day upgrade window.

Technical support:
Our wonderful support team will be available to assist during this time. If you experience slow down, drop outs or downtime lasting more than three hours, call us for residential support on 1300 66 55 75 (option 4). Business and corporate customers should contact their normal channels. We have dedicated personnel to investigate and mitigate any unexpected service impact during the works.

Special note:
Antennas/radios that have been offline for significant periods of time between 1 June and 5 July 2024 may require additional assistance to reconnect as works roll out. Please make us aware if your equipment has been powered down for long periods of time during this window.
